As you note, I like to think our photography improves with experience and research. You have had a lot of great photos in the blog - I like the layout in the last post a lot.

Tatami vital for proper futon sleeping...
Yes, I am glad you added the tatami bit at the end because that really makes all the difference. I don’t really see Japanese people sleeping on a futon on a solid floor.

Fixed the title issue, and I can’t really fix the formatting of the pictures, you have to click on them to view them in full (they look better that way anyway)
